Educational qualification
Applicants must have passed BCA/Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering/BSc Computer Science or equivalent Degree.
Even those who have BSc/BCom/BA/BSc (IT) with Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at Graduation Level (with additional bridge Courses as per the norms of the concerned University) and obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination can also apply.
Candidates who are trying to apply for MCA through lateral entry must have must have a UG degree in any one of BCA, B.Sc. (I.T.), and B.Sc. (Computer Science) from a recognised university. The exam will be conducted online and candidates have to answer questions related to Computer Awareness, Mathematical Ability and Logical Reasoning and Aptitude in two hours time. Correct answer will have one mark and wrongly answered questions will not lose any mark. The total questions to be answered are 200 and total marks are 200.
