Rajasthan Master of Computer Application Admission Test 2024 Online

Eligibility for RMCAAT 2022

Educational qualification

Applicants must have passed BCA/Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering/BSc Computer Science or equivalent Degree.

Even those who have BSc/BCom/BA/BSc (IT) with Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at Graduation Level (with additional bridge Courses as per the norms of the concerned University) and obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination can also apply. 

Candidates who are trying to apply for MCA through lateral entry must have must have a UG degree in any one of BCA, B.Sc. (I.T.), and B.Sc. (Computer Science) from a recognised university. More information about the educational qualification is provided below for the sake of the candidates in a tabular format:

  • The candidate appearing in the final year of graduation examination and having the valid NIMCET score.
  • The candidate is also be permitted to appear in the counselling but their admission will be provisional, subject to furnishing the qualifying examination with the prescribed eligibility by 31th, July 2022  or as decided by Govt. of Rajasthan from time to time.
  • The candidate will be required to submit all the necessary documents at the allotted institute.
MCA Lateral Entry Qualification The Candidates must have a UG degree in any one of BCA, B.Sc. (I.T.), and B.Sc. (Computer Science) from a recognised university
Aggregate Candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved category)
Subject Candidates must have taken up Mathematics as a subject in Class XII or graduation

Nationality/Domicile 

Applicants must be a citizen of India and must be a domicile of Rajasthan. The more information about domicile criteria is provided below in a tabular format for the sake of the students:

Category A

The candidate or his/her parents is a bonafide resident of Rajasthan.

Category B

The candidate has studied continuously as a regular student in a recognized educational institute in Rajasthan for the preceding five years up to and including the year in which he or she has passed the qualifying examination.

Category C

The Candidate is a son/daughter of either a serving employee or a retired employee of any of the following:Government of RajasthanUndertakings/ Corporations/ Improvement Trusts/ Municipal Boards/ Panchayat Samities /Cooperative Bodies duly constituted by the Government of RajasthanStatutory Bodies and Corporations formed under Indian Companies Act incorporated in Rajasthan

Category C

The candidate is a child of an employee of the Central/State Universities in Rajasthan who has put in at least 3 years service on the date of submission of application.

Category C

Candidate is a child of an employee of Central Government or Institutions and who is serving in the State of Rajasthan on the date of application.

Category C

Candidate is a child of an employee of Rajasthan origin, serving in Defence/Central Government services/Public Sector undertakings/National Institutes of Government of India, who has put in at least 3 years service on the last date for submission of application.

 

 

Exam pattern for RMCAAT 2022

The exam will be conducted online and candidates have to answer questions related to Computer Awareness, Mathematical Ability and Logical Reasoning and Aptitude in two hours time. Correct answer will have one mark and wrongly answered questions will not lose any mark. The total questions to be answered are 200 and total marks are 200.
