Candidates have to secure 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at the 10+2 level. They will have to do this without any grace marks in any of the subjects. The plus-two must be studied from a recognised educational institution located across India.

Candidates who have a valid rank in UPSEE or JEE-Mains or AIEEE can also apply. They can apply either online or offline as per their convenience. The score cards related to UPSEE or JEE Mains or AIEEE must also be attached along with the application and then submitted.
The exam will be conducted in both online and offline modes and candidates can choose either one of them taking into account their convenience and answer questions related to maths, physics and chemistry and english.
The questions will be in multiple choice format where every question will have more than one reply and right one among that has to be chosen to get the mark. More information about the pattern is provided below for the sake of the students:
