The criteria for eligibility depends upon the type of the course the candidate is trying to apply through the test. A pass in the exam can get candidates seats in graduate, postgraduate and doctorate courses in various subjects. On a broader note, the qualification for a graduate course entry is a pass in plus-two.
The same for postgraduation entry is a pass in graduation and an entry to doctorate courses requires a pass in postgraduation in relevant discipline. More information is provided below for the sake of the candidates in a tabular format:

For admissions to the BTech program at the university, students must have passed in 10+2 science or its equivalent examination from a recognized board (Preferably above 60%). |

Candidates must have passed class 12th or equivalent from a recognized Board/University. |

BCom (H) |
Candidates must have passed class 12th in commerce stream or equivalent from a recognized Board/University. |

BHM |
Candidates must have passed class 12th or equivalent from a recognized Board/University. |

MBA |
Candidates must have completed their graduation or equivalent in any stream from a recognized University. |

MCA |
Candidates must have completed their graduation in Computers/BCA/Science or equivalent in any stream from a recognized University. |

MTech |
Candidates must have completed their BTech or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized University. |

MSc |
Candidates must have completed their BSc or equivalent in related subjects from a recognized University. |
|
PhD |
Candidates should have passed PG in the relevant subject in which they wish to pursue doctorate |
The exam is conducted in online mode as a computer based test and questions have to be answered in 1 hour or 60 minutes. The format of the questions is multiple choice where each question will have more than one reply and the right one has to be chosen to get the required marks.
The questions will be related to Language Comprehension, Mathematics, Data Analysis and Interpretation, Intelligence and Reasoning are the subjects that are to be studied while preparing for the exam.
Also lessons from maths, physics, chemistry, biology of plus-two level graduate and postgraduate level lessons of various academic subjects have to be studied while preparing for the exam. More information is provided below in a tabular format for the sake of the candidates:
