Educational qualification
Applicants should have passed graduation in the respective discipline in which they wish to pursue postgraduation. Candidates who are appearing for the final exams of their qualifying degree or those who have appeared and are waiting for the results can also apply. These candidates have to pass the exam and produce proof for it by the time of admissions.
Pass marks
Candidates must have passed their qualifying exam with a minimum of 40% pass marks. For the courses where the admission is based on the degree as a whole, the aggregate percentage of marks in the group subjects must be 40%. For admission into M.Ed., the aggregate marks in B.Ed. must be 50% and in degree/PG must be 45%. Pass is sufficient for SC/ST candidates for admission into any course.
The questions would in multiple choice format and would be related to the graduate level lessons of the subject in which candidate is wishing to gain a postgraduate seat. Correct replies would get 1 mark each and there is no negative marking. The exam is divided into three sections and total marks and questions are 100 each.
