Educational qualification
Candidates must have passed Matriculation or class X from a recognized board/ institution to apply for the post of SSC MTS 2022.
Age limit
Applicants must be in the age group of 18 to 25 years. There is an age relaxation for candidates of certain categories. The details are provided below:

The exam has two stages - Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is conducted in online mode and Paper 2 is conducted in offline mode. Questions in Paper 1 are of multiple choice type and Paper 2 are of descriptive type. The total number of questions in Paper 1 are 100 and are for total of 100 marks.
Paper 2 has 50 marks totally and duration to complete answering it is 30 minutes. Paper 1 has to be answered in 90 minutes. The pattern is provided below in tabular format for the sake of the candidates:
