Nationality
Candidates must be a citizen of India. Even candidates who come under below mentioned categories can also apply:
A. A subject of Nepal or
B. A subject of Bhutan or
C. Tibetan refugee came to India, to permanently settle before January 1, 1962, or
D. People of Indian origin migrated from Uganda, Burma, Pakistan, Zambia, the United Republic of Tanzania, Malawi, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam to settle in India.
Point to remember
Candidates who belong to the above mentioned categories in whose favour a certificate of eligibility by the Government of India has been issued are eligible to apply for the SBI Clerk 2022 exam.
Educational qualification
Candidates should have passed bachelors degree in any discipline from a recognised institution located across the country. Even those appearing for the final year exams of their degree can also apply. However, they should have passed the exam and produce documents for that at the time of interview.
Age limit
Applicants should be in the age group of 20 to 28 years. There is an age relaxation for candidates of certain categories. The details are provided below:

The exam is divided into three parts - prelims, mains and local language test. Prelims and Mains will be conducted in online mode and local language test would be held in either online or offline mode depending on the situation then.
Duration for prelims exam is one hour, the same for mains exam is 2 hours 40 minutes. The questions in both the exams will be in objective type. There is a negative marking in prelims and mains. Every correct answer will get 1 mark and a wrong answer would lose .25 marks. The mains exam is for 200 marks and has 190 questions. Prelims exam has 100 questions for 100 marks.
