Tamil Nadu Aptitude Test in Architecture 2024 Offline

Eligibility criteria for TANATA 2022

Candidates should have passed plus-two from a recognised institution in Tamil Nadu with maths, physics and chemistry as subjects. The qualifying exam must be passed with 50% pass marks at the minimum. 

Even candidates who have studied 10+3 Diploma from any stream with 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics as one of the subjects can also apply. Individuals who have an International Baccalaureate Diploma passed after 10 years of Schooling with 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as one of the subject can also register for the exam. The applicant must be a citizen of India and a native of Tamil Nadu. 

Exam pattern for TANATA 2022

Candidates have to know the exam pattern for TANATA 2022 if they are to prepare a sound study schedule. The knowledge of the exam pattern will provide students with lot of information like duration of the exam, no. of questions, types of questions, distribution of marks in each section, total no. of marks, duration to be allotted for every question. All these would help form a very good study plan.

Exam will be conducted in offline mode and students have to answer 100 questions in three hours. The test is divided into two parts - Part A and Part B. Part A will have objective type questions in multiple choice format, Part B will have questions related to drawing and creativity. Time duration for each part is 90 minutes and total marks are 200. The format is being given in tabular format below for the sake of the candidates:
