Tata Institute of Social Sciences conducts its National Eligibility Test, TISSNET to offer admissions to willing students into various postgraduate programs. The exam is often conducted in the month of January. The application form to TISSNET 2022 will be released from December 17, 2021. Last date to apply is February 8, 2022.

Only those candidates who qualify the computer-based test will be allowed to appear for the Pre-interview Test/Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Don't forget to check the TISSNET Cutoff
Only those candidates who qualify the cut offs will be called for the Pre-Interview Test (PIT)/ Group Discussion (GD). Check TISSNET Selection Process
All thr three stages carry a total of 225 marks. The weight age for NET, PIT and PI is 40%, 30% and 30% respectively.

TISSNET 2022 Application Process

Candidates should check details regarding TISSNET registration from below:

TISSNET 2022 form can begin from the 17 December 2021.

Candidates will fill their form through on-line mode.

Registration method are going to be supported varied procedures as well as filling of form, document uploads etc.

Upload photograph in forty to one hundred fifty KB and signature size should be in ten to one hundred fifty KB size.

Candidates will fill their form until second week of Feb 2022 for PBT and until third week of Feb 2022 for CBT.

Take output of the stuffed form and keep it secure for different procedure.

TISSNET Eligibility Criteria


The eligibility criteria for appearing in TISSNET 2022 exam has been given below:

Academic Qualification

  • The candidate must possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognised university.
  • Candidates in their final year of bachelor's degree/equivalent by June 2022, can also apply.
  • Candidates pursuing 3-year bachelor’s degree should have passed all the 4 semesters at the time of filling TISSNET application form whereas those pursuing four-year bachelor's degree must have cleared all the subjects up to sixth semester.
  • Shortlisted candidates should submit all  original certificates and mark sheets on the date of personal interview. Those  in the final year of the degree programme must submit the mark sheets of all previous semesters.

TISSNET 2022 Result

TISSNET 2022 result will be declared sometime in the first week of February. It will be available for download on the official website of Tata Institute of Social Sciences. Candidates will be able to check their result and download the scorecard by using their login id and password.

The scorecard includes candidates’ name, registration number, qualifying status, TISSNET score and TISSNET cut off. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Pre-Interview Test (PIT) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. The final list of selected candidates will be announced by the end of April 2022.

Step 2: Upload Documents

Documents required must be kept handy before filling the application form. Once the JEE Advanced application form is filled correctly, upload the required set of documents with the specifications.

  • Upload high quality scanned images of your latest photograph and signature in JPEG format.
  • The signature size should range from 1kb- 30kb.

Age limit: There is an age limit to appear for JEE Advanced 2023.

  • Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1995
  • Five years relaxation is given to SC, ST and PwD candidates, i.e., these candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1990.

Qualifying JEE Main 2023: Candidates should be among the top 2,45,000 (including all categories) in Paper-1 of JEE Main 2023. The number of candidates that are selected from each of the categories is as follows:

JEE Advanced 2023 Counselling

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will be responsible for the counselling session of JEE Advanced qualified candidates. Registration has to be done and the candidates will have to select their choice of colleges and courses. Candidates will be allotted seats into the participating IITs according to their secured ranks, preferences and availability of seats.

The counselling for the JEE Advanced AAT 2023 qualified candidates will be conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). The candidates will have to register through JoSAA where allotment will be done according to the candidate’s secured rank, preferences made and availability of seat.
