Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Exam for Polytechnic 2023 Joint Entrance Examination Council (Polytechnic) (JEECP) of Uttar Pradesh conducts Joint Entrance Examination Polytechnic (JEEP) to provide admission into various courses offered at polytechnic institutions located across Uttar Pradesh.
The courses offered in the institutions are related to architecture assistantship, carpet technology, computer science and engineering, food technology, electrical engineering and others.
This is a state level exam and is conducted once a year and candidates who wish to study courses in polytechnic institutions can aim for this exam. The popular names for this exam are UP JEEP and UP Polytechnic Exam or JEECUP. The notification is released on the official website of JEECP at appropriate time every year. Candidates can submit applications after the notification is released.
Currently, the facility for application submission is yet to be made active at the official website of the JEECUP. The entrance exam will be conducted from 1 to 5 June 2023.
Candidates can visit the official website and click the link for registration and create an account comprisiing username and password. Post creation of account, they can login with help of password and username obtained during the registration and start filling the form, they can upload the required documents, pay the registration fees and then submit the form.
Post application form submission, applicants have to appear for a written test. The exact schedule, time, and mode of the test will be communicated through registered e-mail id or through other source. The written test will be conducted in offline mode and questions related to the lessons of the respective subject the candidate has chosen to get admitted in polytechnic have to be answered in two hours.
Candidates who pass the exam with the required score (minimum qualifying marks or cutoff marks) will be called for further admission procedure. Cutoff marks will be set and candidate's score in the exam has to be equal to the set cutoff marks or above it.
Candidates can compare their score with the set cutoff marks, If they find their score to be either equal or greater than cutoff, they can take part in the counselling process. Information about the exam is provided below in a tabular format for the sake of the students:
