West Bengal University of Technology Post Graduate Entrance Test 2022 Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) located in West Bengal conducts Postgraduate Entrance Test (PGET) to provide admission into postgraduate engineering, pharmacy courses offered by it and colleges affiliated to it.
The exam is also known as WB PGET as it is conducted in West Bengal and the other name for that is WBUT PGET as it is conducted by West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT). MAKAUT was formerly known as WBUT. This is a state level exam that is meant for students who wish to study postgraduation in pharmacy or engineering.
The notification is released on the official website of the institution at appropriate time every year. Candidates can submit applications after the notification is released. The applications can be submitted both offline and online.
As per online mode, Candidates can visit the official website and click the link for registration and create an account comprisiing username and password. Post creation of account, they can login with help of password and username obtained during the registration and start filling the form, they can upload the required documents, pay the registration fees and then submit the form.
As per the offline mode, the applications can either be procured from the institution in person or by post. The filled application along with the required documents must be sent by post or courier to the institution. Candidates can also download the application form from the website of the institution (if allowed) to be filled and sent to the institution.
Post application form submission, applicants have to appear for a written test. The exact schedule, time, and mode of the test will be communicated through registered e-mail id or through other source.
The written test will be conducted in online mode and questions related to graduate level lessons of the subject in which the candidate wishes to do postgraduation have to be answered in 1 hour 30 minutes or 90 minutes. Similarly, candidates focused on postgraduation in pharmacy have to answer questions related to graduate level lessons in pharmacy in the entrance test in 90 minutes.
Candidates who pass the exam with the required score (minimum qualifying marks or cutoff marks) will be called for further admission procedure. Cutoff marks will be set and candidate's score in the exam has to be equal to the set cutoff marks or above it.
Candidates can compare their score with the set cutoff marks, If they find their score to be either equal or greater than cutoff, they can take part in the counselling process. Information about the exam is provided below in a tabular format for the sake of the students:

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will be responsible for the counselling session of JEE Advanced qualified candidates. Registration has to be done and the candidates will have to select their choice of colleges and courses. Candidates will be allotted seats into the participating IITs according to their secured ranks, preferences and availability of seats.
The counselling for the JEE Advanced AAT 2023 qualified candidates will be conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). The candidates will have to register through JoSAA where allotment will be done according to the candidate’s secured rank, preferences made and availability of seat.
