BIT Deoghar Training & Placement Cell

The Training & Placement (T&P) Cell at BIT Deoghar operates independently and alongside the main campus's T&P Cell at BIT Mesra. This collaboration ensures successful career pathways for its dedicated and talented students.

Placement Process Registration on the Portal

1. Account Activation: Students must activate their account on the BIT Placement Portal (tp.bitmesra.co.in) using their Roll No. An email with a User ID and Password will be sent to their registered email (available on ERP) for portal access.

2. Institute Placement Policy: To participate in any placement or internship drive, students must accept the Institute Placement Policy. This involves reading, understanding, and agreeing to the Placement SOP, and strictly adhering to its rules and norms.

3. Profile Completion: Students need to fill in all required details in the 'Build Your Resume' section to complete their profile. 

4. Document Submission: Proof for all details must be submitted by uploading relevant documents. These will be validated and approved by the Faculty Coordinator.

5. Academic Details: Students should not enter their current academic details (CGPA and Backlog) as these will be automatically updated from the Institute ERP system. All added information will be reflected in the resume.

6. Job Applications: After profile completion, students can apply for eligible job opportunities.

Registration for the Recruitment Process:

• Eligibility Validation: The eligibility of students is validated against data on the T&P Portal at the time of sending the list to the recruiter. No inclusion requests will be considered after the list is forwarded, even if eligibility changes later.
• Job Feed Access: All registered students can view job feeds, but the "Apply" button is available only to eligible students from allowed branches, meeting recruiter criteria.
• Application Process: Eligible students can apply within the allowed time frame by clicking the "Apply" button. Successful registration changes the button to "Withdraw," allowing deregistration from the process within the application deadline.
