Sengunthar College of Engineering Tiruchengodu Placements

There is a training and a placement cell that looks after the placements of the students. They start preparing the students for the placements and get them ready for the corporate world. 

Highlights of the training and the placement cell:

1. Profound training is given in Aptitude, Grammar, Group Discussion and Interview Skills to all the students by a crew of specially recruited Faculty Members for Placement and training Cell.
2. Regular placement training is given to the students of two hours per week to furnish them to catch up with the world at a progressing rate.
3. Great exponents visit their Placement Cell to sharpen their distinctive skills
4. Students are motivated to participate and present papers and projects in Symposiums that us conducted by various Educational Institutions in and around the state.
5. Their students have won 168 prizes during the academic year 2009-10, 267 prizes in 2010-11,199 prizes in 2011-12 and 189 prizes in 2012-13 in the Symposiums conducted by various Institutions.
6. Their Galaxy of prize winners hails their placement cell as it deserves all adulations.
7. A special training is given to the students in the first years in Communication, C and C++ by the Precession Informatics Private Limited, Chennai.
8. An intensive training in Aptitude Group Discussion and Interview Skills are given by Smart Training Resources, Chennai.

Objectives of the training cell 

• The Corporate leaders from leading industries are invited regularly to interact with students.
• Various Training Programmes are organized to train the students in the areas of Aptitude, Quantitative Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Verbal through the Reputed External Training centers.
• Technical training programmes are being conducted by Technical experts.
• Language learning programmes to train students in developing their communication skills using the language lab.
• Training through Mock Interviews for students to perform well in the professional interviews as per the expectations of the corporate world.
