Educational qualification
The applicants must have passed three year LLB or 5 year LLB course from a recognised institution located across India.
Enorllment
Applicants must also be enrolled with a state bar council of any state in India. The candidates can be enrolled with the bar council of their respective state.
Age limit
There is no age limit when it comes to applying for the exam.
The exam is conducted in offline mode (pen and paper based test) where the answers for all the questions have to marked in a separate answer sheet. The difficulty of the exam is said to be of a moderated level and questions will be related to law subjects taught in law courses regularly as a part of law courses in recognised educational institutions.
The format of questions is multiple choice and the number of questions to be answered are 100 and total marks to be scored are 100. Every correct answer will get one mark and there is no negative marking, which means a wrongly answered question will not lose any mark. The exam pattern is also being given in a tabular format below for the sake of the students:
