Applicants must be a citizens of India and must be residing in any state or union territory of India. Even Foreign Nationals, can apply for the exam.
Aspirants shall not be less than 16 years of age in order to be eligible for the exam. Candidates who are diploma holders should not be less than 18 years so as to appear for the exam.
Applicants should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics from a recognized board. Even, students with a 3-year diploma course in Engineering/ Technology covering subjects of Mathematics and Physics up to 10+2 level along with relevant work experience can also apply. Candidates pursuing higher education in the field Physics, Electrical, Electronics or Computer can also appear.
The exam will be conducted in offline mode as a pen and paper based test, this mode is where the answers have to be recorded on a separate answer sheet. The questions will be related to maths, physics of 12th standard level and lessons related to computer science, electronics and information technology of diploma or graduate level. There is no set time frame as there are lot of papers that have to answered in this exam. More information is provided below in a tabular format for the sake of the students:
