Application process for CUCET 2026

Online

Candidates have to check their eligibility for the course and ensure they are fulfilling it so as to minimise the chances of rejection of their application at a later stage. The condition of eligibility can be checked from the notification in connection with the exam, which would be available on the official website for the exam established by the organisation conducting the exam. Post, ensuring the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria, candidates can follow the procedure mentioned below:

  1. Visit the official website of the exam and click the link for registration, and wait for the form to appear.
  2. Post the appearance of the form, candidates can fill it with the details like their name, age, date of birth, qualification details, permanent and temporary address, email id and mobile phone number and submit them and create an account comprising username and password and submit them.
  3. The students would receive a confirmation message of successful submission, and post submission, they can view the details about the username and password created and go to the website where they can use the username and password.

3A. Sometimes, after confirmation, candidates may receive a One-Time Password (OTP) either on their mobile phone or email after submission of the registration form. In that case, they can enter the OTP and receive the final confirmation of submission of the registration form and the details about the username and password created.

  1. Applicants can log in with the help of credentials (username and password) created and start filling the application form with details – the name (of the candidate), age, date of birth, educational qualification, residential address and permanent address, the course they wish to study, and the test centre where they wish to write the test.
  2. Post filling in all the details, applicants have to upload the documents. The documents to be uploaded would depend on the type of course for, they wish to apply for the exam. The list of documents to be attached is mentioned below for various courses:

The documents to be uploaded for the UG course are:

  • 10th class mark sheet
  • 12th class mark sheet or suggested alternatives if mark sheets are yet to be obtained
  • Community Certificate (if applicable)
  • Differently Abled Certificate (if applicable)
  • Photograph of the candidate
  • Scanned image of the candidate’s signature

The documents to be uploaded if applying for PG courses are:

  • 10th class mark sheet
  • 12th class mark sheet or suggested alternatives if mark sheets are yet to be obtained
  • UG mark sheet or suggested alternatives if mark sheets are yet to be obtained
  • Community Certificate (if applicable)
  • Differently Able Certificate (if applicable)
  • Photograph of the candidate
  • Scanned image of the candidate’s signature

6. Post uploading of the documents, candidates can pay the registration fee using online modes like a credit card, debit card and net banking and obtain confirmation. After obtaining the confirmation, candidates can check for errors in the application and rectify them if any. Post rectification/verification, the application can be submitted, and confirmation for successful submission can be obtained.  

Offline

This procedure is quite different from what takes place in an online procedure. Candidates have to ensure they are fulfilling the required eligibility conditions. Post ensuring eligibility conditions, the candidate can try to procure the form for filling it and sending it. They can follow the procedure below:

  1. The application form has to be obtained from the official website of the college or the institution that conducts the exam. The form can be downloaded from the website, and it can be filled out and sent back to the institution either through courier or post, along with the required documents.
  2. The forms can be acquired from the educational institution by visiting it in person. Candidates can either fill it and submit it there itself or bring it home and fill it, and send it either by post or courier along with the required documents.
  3. Students can attach a DD or any other equivalent document indicating the payment of the required registration fees.
