Chandigarh University, which is popularly known as CU in the academic circles, conducts the Common Entrance Test (CET) every year to provide admission into certain courses offered by it. The exam is well-known as CUCET among the students, and it is an institutional-level exam that is conducted many times in a year.
Students who are willing to join the courses - Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.), Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharmacy), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Integrated Law programs (B.A+LLB, BBA+LLB, BCom+LLB), Pharm D., Master of Pharmacy (Pharmaceutical Chemistry), Master of Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics), Master of Pharmacy (Pharmacology), Master of Pharmacy (Industrial Pharmacy) and Master of Law have to take CUCET.
CUCET 2026 application form for Phase 1 admissions has been released at cucet.cuchd.in. The offline CUCET application form 2026 is also available at the University admission offices/authorised centres. The final date to submit the application form of CUCET 2026 for Phase 1 is April 30, 2026. Chandigarh University is conducting the CUCET 2026 Phase 1 exam as an online, remote-proctored test until May 1, 2026. During registration, the students can choose their preferred exam slot. The process to apply for the test is online, and the official website has to be visited to submit applications.
Students have to visit the official website and click the link for registration, and create an account comprising a username and a password. Post account creation, candidates can log in and fill out the application form and pay the registration fee and submit it. There is a scope for offline submission of application forms.
Candidates can visit the institution to procure the application forms from the institution or its authorised centres. The forms have to be filled out and sent to the organisation along with the required documents either through the post or courier. Post submission, students have to download the hall ticket for the exam and appear for the test.
The test will be conducted in online mode, and answers have to be registered on a computer within a duration of two hours. The subjects for questions in the test will depend on the course the candidate has applied for through CUCET. The written test has to be passed with the required qualifying marks to be eligible for the further process, which involves counselling/interview/group discussion and document verification.
