The eligibility for applying depends on the type of the course the candidate is wishing to apply. At a general level, students willing to apply must have passed plus-two from a recognised educational institution. More information is provided below for the students:
Engineering
Candidates must have cleared 12th grade from a school affiliated with Chhattisgarh or equivalent board. The student must pass with Physics, chemistry, mathematics, and one of the technical vocational subjects in the qualifying exam. Minimum marks for the general category are 45% an40% for the reserved category(SC/ST/OBC/PH)
Agricultural Engineering
Applicants must must have passed class 12 from a school affiliated with Chhattisgarh or equivalent board. The subjects must be maths/biology/agriculture, physics and chemistry. Minimum marks for the general category are 50%(PCM+ English) an40% for the reserved category(SC/ST/OBC/PH).
Dairy Technology
Applicant must have passed class 12 exams from school affiliated to Chhattisgarhi or equivalent board. They must be above 17 years of age. The subjects must be maths/biology/, physics and chemistry. Minimum marks for the general category are 50%(PCM and English) and 40% for the reserved category(SC/ST/OBC/PH). Candidates appearing for final exams are also eligible to apply for the exam.
The test is conducted in offline mode and students have to mark their answers on a separate sheet in a duration of 3 hours or 180 minutes. More information is provided below in the tabular format for the sake of the students:
