About FDDI AIST 2022

Footwear Design and Development Institute All India Selection Test 2022, FDDI AIST 2022 Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI) conducts All India Selection Test (AIST) to provide admission into graduate and postgraduate courses offered by it. The programmes offered are mentioned below:

Undergraduate

Bachelor of Design (B. Des.): Duration: 4 Years (8 Semesters)

• B. Des. in Footwear Design & Production (B.Des. – FDP)
• B. Des. in Leather Goods & Accessories Design (B.Des. – LGAD)
• B. Des. in Fashion Design (B.Des. – FD)

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA): Duration: 3 Years (6 Semesters)

• BBA in Retail & Fashion Merchandise (BBA – RFM)

Postgraduate

Master of Design (M.Des.): Duration: 2 Years (4 Semesters)

• M. Des. in Footwear Design & Production (M.Des. – FDP)

Master of Business Administration (MBA): Duration: 2 Years (4 Semesters)

• MBA in Retail & Fashion Merchandise (MBA – RFM)

Candidates who wish to study graduation or postgraduation in above mentioned subjects can focus on this exam. This is a national level exam that is conducted once a year.  The notification is released on the official website of FDDI at appropriate time every year. Candidates can submit applications after the notification is released. 

Candidates can visit the official website and click the link for registration and create an account comprisiing username and password. Post creation of account, they can login with help of password and username obtained during the registration and start filling the form, they can upload the required documents, pay the registration fees and then submit the form.

Post application form submission, applicants have to appear for a written test. The exact schedule, time, and mode of the test will be communicated through registered e-mail id or through other source. The written test will be conducted in offline mode and questions related to Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability, General Awareness and Business Aptitude Test have to be answered in 2 hours 30 minutes if candidates choose undergraduate course through FDDI AIST.

Applicants who choose to join postgraduate programmes through FDDI AIST have to answer questions related to Quantitative Aptitude, English Comprehension & Analytical Ability, General Knowledge & Current Affairs and Management Aptitude Test in the entrance test in 2 hours 30 minutes.

Candidates who pass the exam with the required score (minimum qualifying marks or cutoff marks) will be called for further admission procedure. Cutoff marks will be set and candidate's score in the exam has to be equal to the set cutoff marks or above it.

Candidates can compare their score with the set cutoff marks, If they find their score to be either equal or greater than cutoff, they can take part in the counselling process. Information about the exam is provided below in a tabular format for the sake of the students:
