Eligibility criteria for Indian Bank PO 2022

Educational qualification

Applicants must have a passed Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution. Even those who are appearing for the final exam of the qualifying degree can also apply, however, they should have passed the exam of the qualifying degree and should produce required documents at the time of the interview.

Age limit

The age limit is 20 to 28 years. However candidates of certain categories get relaxation with regards to age limit and the details are provided below:

PwD 10 years (additional if from reserved category

Nationality

Applicants must be citizens of India and should be residing in any state or union territory of India. However, even these candidates can also apply and details are:

  • A resident of Bhutan or Nepal
  • A Tibetan refugee, who has moved to India intending to stay here permanently
  • People of Indian origin who have migrated from Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and East African countries intending to settle permanently in India.

Exam pattern for Indian Bank PO 2022

The exam is divided into two phases - prelims and mains. Prelims and Mains will be conducted in online mode as a computer based test. The questions will be of objective type and prelims exam has 100 questions and the with mains is 200. The medium of the written test will be in english and hindi. Candidates who pass mains exam will have to appear for a descriptive test which involves letter writing and essay writing.  

Mains exam will have test will have 5 sections- English, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge. Prelims has 3 sections- English language, Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude.  The format is provided below for the sake of the candidates:
