The counselling procedure involves the process to be followed after the written exam is over. Candidates have to pass the written exam JNU CEEB/GAT-B/BET with the minimum qualifying marks.
The marks of the candidates have to be either equal to the minimum qualifying marks (cutoff) or greater than that. Students whose score in the exam is either equal or greater than qualifying marks can apply for counselling.
Students who become eligible for the counselling will be informed about the participating colleges and the seats that are available there in each course.
Candidates can choose their options (colleges and course) through online process. Candidates have to check the eligibility conditions and admission process at the institutions they wish to choose during the online process and then select the college and course.
Once the seats are allotted, participating institutes will send intimation to the candidates about their allotment of the university and also to the concerned participating university to which the candidate has been selected. Candidates can check the allotment of the university on the website of the institutes.
The participating university will then inform the candidate about the complete admission procedure and schedule of their M.Tech. Biotechnology prospectus. Candidates have to choose the institutions after a good deal of verification of all aspects, as a request to change the institution may not be allowed at a later stage.
