Educational qualification
The candidates should pass class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for all B.Tech programs. Students focused on biotechnology-oriented engineering courses must pass plus-two with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from a recognised state board with 60% and above in aggregate. Also, students who have qualified in JEE Mains or JEE Advanced or other state-level engineering entrance exams are eligible to apply.
Age Limit/Nationality/Attempts
Candidates must be 17 years and above but not more than 21 years of age. All candidates of Indian Origin can apply for the entrance exam. Candidates can make any number of attempts so long as they are not above 21 years.
The test will be conducted in online mode, where the candidates will answer questions on a computer within a duration of three hours. The questions will be related to maths, physics, and chemistry if the candidates choose an engineering course in regular disciplines.
Those choosing biotechnology-oriented engineering courses will answer questions from biology instead of maths, along with physics, chemistry. More information is provided in the table below for the sake of the students:
