Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test 2023 Anna University located in Tamil Nadu conducts Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) to provide admission into postgraduate courses in colleges located across the state of Tamil Nadu.
The programmes offered through this exam are MBA and MCA. Candidates who wish to puruse above mentioned programmes in educational institutions situated across Tamil Nadu can aim for this exam.
The notification is released on the official website of Anna University at appropriate time every year. Candidates can submit applications after the notification is released. Currently, the application submission began on 1 February 2023 and last date is 28 February 2023 for submitting applications.The result would be released on or before 23/4/2023. Students who wish to apply can visit the official website of the exam.
Candidates can visit the official website and click the link for registration and create an account comprisiing username and password. Post creation of account, they can login with help of password and username obtained during the registration and start filling the form, they can upload the required documents, pay the registration fees and then submit the form.
Post application form submission, applicants have to appear for a written test. The exact schedule, time, and location of the test centre will be communicated through registered e-mail id or through other source. The written test will be conducted in online mode and questions related to computer science, mathematics, analytical ability & logical Reasoning and english have to be answered in two hours.
Candidates who pass the exam with the required score (minimum qualifying marks or cutoff marks) will be called for further admission procedure. Cutoff marks will be set and candidate's score in the exam has to be equal to the set cutoff marks or above it.
Candidates can compare their score with the set cutoff marks, If they find their score to be either equal or greater than cutoff, they can take part in the counselling process. Information about the exam is provided below in a tabular format for the sake of the students:

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will be responsible for the counselling session of JEE Advanced qualified candidates. Registration has to be done and the candidates will have to select their choice of colleges and courses. Candidates will be allotted seats into the participating IITs according to their secured ranks, preferences and availability of seats.
