About TS PGECET 2023

Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test 2023 Osmania University (OU) situated in Hyderabad in Telangana state of South India conducts Postgraduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (PGECET) to provide admission into MTech, MArch, MPharma and other postgraduate courses in educational institutions located across Telangana.

This is a state level exam conducted once a year and is for those who wish to study postgraduation in the subjects mentioned earlier. 

The test is conducted by OU on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) and it is well-known among the general public as TS PGECET. The notification is released on the official website of the institution at appropriate time every year. Candidates can submit applications after the notification is released.

The entrance exam application submission began on 3 March 2023 and candidates can visit the official website of the exam and then submit applications till 3 April 2023. The exams will be conducted from 29 May to 1 June 2023. The date for release of results will be notified later.

Candidates can visit the official website and click the link for registration and create an account comprisiing username and password. Post creation of account, they can login with help of password and username obtained during the registration and start filling the form, they can upload the required documents, pay the registration fees and then submit the form.

Post application form submission, applicants have to appear for a written test. The exact schedule, time, and mode of the test will be communicated through registered e-mail id or through other source. The written test will be conducted in online mode and questions related to graduate level lessons in the respective subject in which the candidates wish to pursue postgraduation have to be answered is 2 hours.

Candidates who pass the exam with the required score (minimum qualifying marks or cutoff marks) will be called for further admission procedure. Cutoff marks will be set and candidate's score in the exam has to be equal to the set cutoff marks or above it.

Candidates can compare their score with the set cutoff marks,  If they find their score to be either equal or greater than cutoff, they can take part in the counselling process. Information about the exam is provided below in a tabular format for the sake of the students:
