Eligibility criteria for UPES DAT 2022

The condition of eligibility depends on the type of the course the candidate is trying to apply through this exam. Candidates can get a seat in BDes (Bachelors in Design) and MDes (Masters in Design) through this test. Eligibility criteria is different for both the courses. More information is provided below for the sake of the students:

B.Des

Minimum 50% marks in Class X and XII with any stream from a recognized school board with at least 50% marks. 

M.Des

1. Minimum 50% marks at Higher and Senior Secondary Level (X & XII).

2. B.Tech /BE in relevant discipline / B.Arch. / BFA. Or 3 Year Degree such as B.Sc./BA/BFA in applied Art/Design of any other relevant disciplines (With minimum 50% Marks) along with 1 year of relevant industry experience. OR 2 years M.Sc./MTech in Computer Science and Engineering.
IT Subjects / Domains (Only for Interaction Design) or equivalent.

Exam pattern for UPES DAT 2022

The questions will be related to English, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency, General Awareness, Analytical & Logical Reasoning, Design aesthetics, Creativity, Innovation, Drawing. The time frame to answer all questions are 60 minutes of 1 hour.
