Eligibility for UPCATET 2022

The condition of eligibility depends upon the course the candidate is trying to apply. Applicants passing UPCATET 2022 can join courses at postgraduate, graduate and doctorate level in agriculture course and disciplines allied to it. On a broader note, applicants trying to apply for postgraduate courses must have passed bachelors degree in the relevant discipline from a recognised institution. 

Applicants must have passed plus-two from a recognised institution from the science stream and the subjects should be maths/biology/agriculture, physics and chemistry. Applicant must be a citizen of India and a domicile of Uttar Pradesh. Exam pattern for UPCATET 2022

The exam will be conducted in offline mode and questions related to maths, physics, chemistry, biology and agriculture have to be answered when the focus is on undergraduate courses. Questions featuring in the exam will be graduate level lessons related to the subject in which the candidate wants to pursue postgraduation.

When the focus is on doctorate courses, questions related to postgraduate level lessons of the subject in which the candidate wants to do a doctorate have to be answered. The subjects for questions will depend on the course the candidate wants to apply through the exam. More information is provided in a tabular format below for the sake of the students:
