About UPCATET 2022

Uttar Pradesh Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test, UPCATET 2022 Banda University of Agriculture & Technology in Banda in Uttar Pradesh conducts UP Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test (UPCATET) to provide admission into various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate courses.

The courses offered in undergraduate are BSc, BVSc, BTech, BFSc. The courses provided in postgraduation through this test are MSc, MVSc, MTech, MFSc and at doctorate level, PhD is offered in various subjects. 

The programmes offered are related to agriculture sciences and its allied disciplines. This is a state level exam and is for those who wish to study courses associated with agriculture and its allied disciplines. The notification is released on the official website of BIT at appropriate time every year. Candidates can submit applications after the notification is released. Currently, application submission is on from 1 March 2022 and candidates can apply till 30 April 2022.

Candidates can visit the official website and click the link for registration and create an account comprisiing username and password. Post creation of account, they can login with help of password and username obtained during the registration and start filling the form, they can upload the required documents, pay the registration fees and then submit the form.

Post application form submission, applicants have to appear for a written test. The exact schedule, time, and mode of the test will be communicated through registered e-mail id or through other source. The written test will be conducted in online mode and questions related to maths, physics, chemistry and biology have to be answered if candidates are choosing to join undergraduate courses through this exam.

If course to join is postgraduate then the exam will have questions related to graduate level lessons of the subject in which the applicant wants to pursue postgraduation. PhD course aspirants will answer questions related to postgraduate level lessons of the subject in which they wish to do a doctorate. The questions have to answered in 3 hours for (UG and PG), 2 hours (PhD and MBA). 

Candidates who pass the exam with the required score (minimum qualifying marks or cutoff marks) will be called for further admission procedure. Cutoff marks will be set and candidate's score in the exam has to be equal to the set cutoff marks or above it.

Candidates can compare their score with the set cutoff marks,  If they find their score to be either equal or greater than cutoff, they can take part in the counselling process. Information about the exam is provided below in a tabular format for the sake of the students:
