Exam cutoff for TNEA 2022

The cutoff in connection with TNEA will be declared soon after the applications are submitted. Cutoff score is the minimum marks candidates have to score to be eligible to go to the next stage of admission process or for getting finally selected for the admission in the educational institution. The score of the candidates in the exam has to be either equal to the cutoff score or greater than that.

The cutoff score is decided by the authorities conducting the admission procedure based on certain factors like number of candidates appearing for the admission, previous year admission trends, present year trends and availability of the seats in colleges across Tamil Nadu. The cutoff marks are usually declared a few days after the registration procedure comes to a close. However, sometimes, the cutoff marks can be declared before the commencement of registration process or along with the announcement of application submission commencement.

Candidates after knowing their score in the exam can compare it with the set cutoff marks, if their score in the exam is either equal to the cutoff or more than that, they can move to the next stage of admission procedure which usually involves choosing colleges to study the course, confirming their acceptance of the seat and payment of fees.
