Eligibility criteria for TNEA 2022

There are set criteria for applying for TNEA and they are mentioned below for the sake of the students. Students who are willing to apply for TNEA must ensure they are fulfilling the required eligibility conditions. Post ensuring fulfillment, they can submit applications online. More information about the eligibility is given below for the sake of the students:

$ Candidates must be from Tamil Nadu and they should have passed their Class VIII to Class XII standard in Tamil Nadu.

$ Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years at the time of TNEA application form submission.

$ Sons/daughters of All India Service Tamil Nadu cadre officers.

$ Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognized institutions who at the times of TNEA 2022 application form submission had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible to apply, irrespective of their domicile.

$ Other state candidates who have studied from Class VIII to Class XII in Tamil Nadu can also apply for TNEA 2022. 

$ Tamil Nadu native candidates who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI and XII standards or their equivalent examinations from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply for TNEA.

Exam pattern for TNEA 2022

There is no particular syllabus for TNEA as there is no entrance exam involved after the students submit applications as it happens quite usually with regards to admission procedures connected with other educational institutions in Tamil Nadu. Candidates who submit applications have to attend the process of document verification at the centres allotted by Department of Technical Education (DOTE) of Tamil Nadu. As there is no exam conducted, so there is no exam pattern.
