Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed 10+2/Intermediate/ or equivalent examination from any recognized educational institution. Students who are appearing for the final year exams or have appeared for the final year exams can also apply. However, they have to pass the exams and produce proof for it by the time of admissions.
Pass Marks in Qualifying Exam
Candidates must have obtained at least 50% marks in Class 10 & 12 and 50% marks aggregate in the PCM Subjects. Students who are focused on biology or biotechnology oriented engineering courses have to pass plus-two with biology as one of the main subjects or an additional subject.
Nationality/Age Limit
Indian, as well as foreign national candidates, can apply for the UPESEAT. Candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 2000.
Point to remember
Candidates who have scored more than prescribed cut off marks in JEE Mains need not appear for UPESEAT 2022 and can participate directly in the counselling. Also, students with scores equal to or above 80% in both Class 10 & 12 levels also need not appear for UPESEAT 2022 and can participate directly in the counselling.
The exam will be conducted in online mode and also as centre based test and questions will be related to maths/biology, physics and chemistry and english in online test. The centre based test will go on for three hours and questions will be related to mathematics, physics, chemistry, english language comprehension, current affairs awareness.
The questions have to be answered in 2 hours or 180 minutes in online test. The format of questions is multiple choice where each query has more than one reply and right one has to be chosen to score marks. More information is provided below in a tabular format for the students:
