University of Petroleum and Energy Studies Engineering Aptitude Test 2022 University of Petroleum & Energy Studies (UPES) conducts Engineering Aptitude Test (EAT) to provide admission into graduate engineering courses in various disciplines.
This is an institutional level exam that is conducted once a year and is for those who wish to join engineering. Students who have completed plus-two with maths/biology, physics and chemistry and are interested in engineering can aim for this exam. The exam is also popular as UPESEAT as it is conducted by UPES.
The notification is released on the official website of UPES at appropriate time every year. Candidates can submit applications after the notification is released. Currently, application submission facility is open and candidates can visit the official website and submit the applications. The last date to submit applications for UPESEAT is 30 June 2022.
Candidates can visit the official website and click the link for registration and create an account comprisiing username and password. Post creation of account, they can login with help of password and username obtained during the registration and start filling the form, they can upload the required documents, pay the registration fees and then submit the form.
Post application form submission, applicants have to appear for a written test. The exact schedule, time, and location of the test centre will be communicated through registered e-mail id or through other source. The written test will be conducted in online mode and questions related to mathematics/biology, physics, chemistry have to be answered in two hours.
Candidates who pass the exam with the required score (minimum qualifying marks or cutoff marks) will be called for further admission procedure. Cutoff marks will be set and candidate's score in the exam has to be equal to the set cutoff marks or above it. Candidates can compare their score with the set cutoff marks, If they find their score to be either equal or greater than cutoff, they can take part in the counselling process.
