Admission Process
Qualify Class 12
Complete Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, Agriculture or Mathematics from a recognised board, meeting the minimum percentage required.
Appear for the relevant entrance exam
Register for CUET-UG or the applicable state-level CET such as KCET, KEAM or WBJEE; NEET-UG scores are also used for the 15% All India Quota seats in agricultural universities, coordinated by ICAR.
Apply to agricultural universities or colleges
Submit applications to the State Agricultural University, an ICAR institute or an affiliated college, along with the required documents, within the notified dates.
Counselling and seat allotment
Participate in counselling conducted by the university or state authority based on entrance exam rank or merit, and choose a college and seat.
Admission confirmation
Complete document verification, pay the admission fee and complete enrolment formalities at the allotted college.
