How we report, check and correct the news on CollegeChalo.com.

Last updated: October 26, 2026

CollegeChalo.com is an admissions guidance platform operated by Phoenix360 Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Chennai. Our news section covers entrance exams, admissions, results and scholarships for students in India. This page explains where our facts come from, how a story is checked before it is published, and what we do when we get something wrong.

1

What we cover

Exam notices and dates, application windows, admit cards, results and cut-offs, counselling rounds, scholarships and announcements from colleges and universities.

We write one story per event and update it as the event develops. We do not republish other publishers' stories, and we do not publish lists or round-ups written only to attract search traffic.

2

Where our facts come from

We report from official sources: the body that conducts the exam (for example, the National Testing Agency), its information bulletins and public notices, official university and college websites, and government orders. Every story links its official source near the top, so you can check it yourself.

When an official date or figure has not been announced, we say so. Anything we expect but that is not yet official is labelled as an estimate, with what it is based on, such as the previous year's dates.

3

How a story is checked and published

Every date, fee and number in a story is checked against the official document before it is published. Our publishing system will not let a story go live without a link to an official source, a minimum length and a check for duplicates of stories we have already published. An editor reviews and approves each story before it goes live.

Each story shows the date it was published, and the date of its last update when it has been changed since.

4

How we use AI tools

We use AI tools to help prepare drafts from official documents, such as summarising a long information bulletin, and to find pages on our site whose dates have gone out of date. A person on our team checks every fact against the official source and approves every story before it is published. Live updates drafted with AI help are labelled “Drafted with AI help, checked by” the person who checked them.

We do not use AI to rewrite other publishers' articles, and we do not publish AI-written text that no one has checked.

5

Bylines

Every story carries a byline. New stories name the person responsible for them, linked to an author page that gives their role. Some older guides carry the byline “CollegeChalo Team”.

6

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we correct it as soon as we can and add a note at the end of the story saying what changed and when. To report an error, email support@collegechalo.com with the page address and what is wrong.

7

Independence and advertising

CollegeChalo earns from admissions counselling and from promotional work for some colleges, such as admission landing pages and advertising. Our news is based on official information; colleges and advertisers do not write or approve it. Sponsored content is labelled “Sponsored”.

CollegeChalo is not affiliated with the National Testing Agency or any other exam conducting body. Applications for an exam are made only on its official website.

We update this page when the way we work changes. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
