Overview
AEEE is the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham computer-based entrance test for B.Tech; dates for the 2027 cycle are not announced yet. AEEE stands for Amrita Entrance Examination - Engineering. The university uses it, or a JEE Main percentile, to rank candidates for its B.Tech programmes at all campuses. The AEEE site lists AEEE 2027 as opening soon and states that applications for B.Tech 2027 will start in November. In the 2026 cycle the test ran in two phases (29 January to 1 February 2026 and in the last week of April 2026), and seat allotment ran in May 2026.

Admission to B.Tech programmes at all campuses is based on the AEEE rank or the JEE Main percentile. Candidates then register for CSAP, where seats are allotted on campus and course preferences, eligibility and rank. Scholarships (fee slabs 1 to 4) depend on rank, branch, seat availability and the number of applicants; the university states that more than 70% of seats are in the scholarship category, with seats earmarked separately for AEEE and JEE candidates. It states there is no cut-off or minimum rank for CSAP and no management quota.
