AJU CET Latest Updates
Updated- 20 October 2026: ARKA JAIN University has not announced AJU CET dates for the 2027 intake. The university site and the AJUCET site still show "AJUCET 2026"; the AJU CET page text is headed 2024 and the 2026-27 brochure carries the current pattern. For the last cycle, see the timeline.
- 16 March 2026: The university published an admission notification in Dainik Bhaskar; earlier admission notices appeared on 31 December 2025 and 2 January 2026.
- 1 May 2026: AJU CET Phase 2 began, with lower waivers (Rs 15,000 at most) and a window running to the end of the admission session.
- 15 November 2025: AJU CET Phase 1 opened for the 2026 intake, with waivers of up to Rs 20,000 in the first-year academic fee; it ran to 30 April 2026.
- 13 August 2025: Admission and AJU CET Phase IV notification published in Dainik Jagran (Phase III notice 18 June 2025, Phase II notice 12 April 2025).

Overview
AJU CET (also written AJUCET) is the ARKA JAIN University Common Entrance Test, which ARKA JAIN University, Jamshedpur, uses for admission and for scholarships in the first-year academic fee. The 2026-27 brochure calls it a National Admission-cum-Scholarship Test: 100 multiple-choice questions, 100 marks and 2 hours, with no negative marking. Candidates register on the AJUCET site and choose their own exam date and time. The 2026 cycle ran in two phases, 15 November 2025 to 30 April 2026 and from 1 May 2026 to the end of the admission session. No AJU CET dates for the 2027 intake are published yet (checked 20 October 2026).

Eligibility Criteria
The pages read give no separate eligibility for taking AJU CET; a candidate needs the qualification of the programme applied for. Candidates who hold a valid score in another listed test (for example JEE Main, CUET, GATE, CLAT or the JCECEB exam) can use it in place of AJU CET where the programme page says so. A score of 30 marks or more makes a candidate eligible for admission; scholarship waivers start at 40 marks.

Exam Pattern
The 2026-27 brochure gives one pattern for the test: multiple-choice questions, no negative marking, 100 questions, 100 marks and a duration of 2 hours, with the syllabus based on the Class 10 board, the Class 12 board (science, commerce or arts) or graduation in the applicable stream. The AJU CET page, which is headed 2024, lists a programme-wise breakdown with the same 100 questions in 120 minutes for most programmes.

Each question has four options. The candidate carries the admit card with a photograph; textual material, calculators, electronic watches, phones and other devices are not allowed in the hall, and there is no re-examination.

Syllabus
The AJU CET page lists the subjects for the programmes below. The pages read give no subject list for BBA, MBA, BCA, MCA, B.A., law or the B.Sc programmes beyond the level (Class 10, Class 12 or graduation).
- Polytechnic: English, Mathematics, Science, General Awareness (Class 10 level).
- B.Tech: Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, English (Class 12 level).
- M.Tech Computer Science and Engineering: Quantitative Aptitude and Discrete Mathematics; Computer Fundamentals and Programming; Logical and Analytical Reasoning; General Awareness and Current Affairs; English Language.
- M.Tech Manufacturing Engineering: Quantitative Aptitude and Discrete Mathematics; Mechanical Engineering; Logical and Analytical Reasoning; General Awareness and Current Affairs; English Language.
- M.Tech Electric Vehicle Technology: Quantitative Aptitude and Discrete Mathematics; Electrical and Electronics Engineering; Logical and Analytical Reasoning; General Awareness and Current Affairs; English Language.

How to Apply for AJU CET 2027
There are two ways to register, both shown on the AJUCET site and in the brochure.
- Online: visit ajucet.arkajainuniversity.ac.in, enter name, contact details, programme and preferred mode of exam, then select an exam date and time and submit.
- In person: collect the AJUCET registration form from the university information centre or download it from the AJUCET site, fill it in and submit it at the information centre or to a university official.
Candidates receive an admit card with the venue; no candidate is allowed in without it. The form must carry a self-attested mark sheet of the last qualifying exam and a recent photograph. Candidates exempted from AJU CET through another test must provide a photocopy of that score card. Admission itself is applied for separately at admissions.arkajainuniversity.ac.in; the university application form costs Rs 1,000 (General) and Rs 500 for SC/ST. A candidate found using unfair means is removed and the registration fee is not refunded.

AJU CET Scholarship by Marks
The AJU CET marks decide a one-time waiver in the first-year academic fee. The waiver is adjusted in the second instalment of the first-year fees. Marks of 30 to 39.99 qualify for admission with no waiver.

The brochure advertises scholarships worth 5 crore in all, without a year. The university scholarship policy (codes AJUSP101 to AJUSP115) is separate and covers merit, defence, sports, SC/ST, EWS and other categories; a student can hold one scholarship at a time.

Not always. The brochure accepts a valid JEE Main 2026, CUET (NTA), GATE, CLAT or JCECEB score for the programmes that name them, in place of AJU CET. Candidates exempted this way must provide a photocopy of the score card.
