Updated- 16 October 2026: no DBUU CET 2027 page, date or fee is published. The CET page on apply.dbuu.ac.in still shows the 2026 test (page as captured on 28 January 2026), and the main site www.dbuu.ac.in returned a server error to a plain request on this date. Overview
The DBUU Common Entrance Test (DBUU CET) is the scholarship and entrance test of Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University, Dehradun. Candidates sit it at the campus at Manduwala; the percentage they score sets a tuition scholarship of 10% to 100% of the first-year base fee, and the university offers same-day counselling and admission. Applying through the CET is optional: direct admission is also open. No DBUU CET 2027 date is announced (checked 16 October 2026); the 2026 test ran in three phases on 28 March, 25 April and 30 May 2026. The 2025 test was called the DBUU Scholarship cum Entrance Test.

Eligibility Criteria
The DBUU CET page lists three conditions. Students appearing for or who have completed Class 12 can apply for undergraduate programmes (any stream); graduates and final-year undergraduate students can apply for postgraduate programmes; and the test is open to candidates from Uttarakhand and from all other states. Programme eligibility is separate: for example B.Tech needs Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics and 55% for CSE, AI and ML, AI and data science, cyber security and data science (45% for civil, ECE, mechanical, electrical and aerospace), BBA needs 55% in any stream, and MBA needs a three-year degree with 55%.
The CET page notes that it is not applicable to BAMS, B.PT, B.Sc Nursing and polytechnic programmes. Another footnote on the DBUU programme pages also excludes the diplomas in hotel management, architecture and fashion design.

Exam Pattern
For 2026 the CET page gives one paper per stream, each with 60 questions and a duration of 60 minutes. It does not publish a subject-wise split, marking scheme or negative marking for 2026.

The 2025 test (then the DBUU Scholarship cum Entrance Test) had 100 questions in 120 minutes: English 20, Aptitude 20, General Awareness and Computers 20, and 40 questions on the stream subjects (for the Maths group Physics and Chemistry 20 and Mathematics 20). Results were announced on the test day. The 2025 pattern is shown as last cycle only.

Syllabus
DBUU publishes no CET syllabus (checked 16 October 2026). The 2025 test page named the subject areas of each paper, which the 2026 page does not repeat:
- UG Maths group (2025): English, Aptitude, General Awareness and Computers, Physics and Chemistry, Mathematics.
- UG Biology group (2025): English, Aptitude, General Awareness and Computers, Physics and Chemistry, Biology.
- UG Commerce (2025): English, Aptitude, General Awareness and Computers, Commerce.
- UG Arts (2025): English, Aptitude, General Awareness and Computers, any two of Political Science, Economics, Sociology, History and Geography.
- PG (2025): English, Quantitative Analysis, General Awareness, Computers.

How to Apply for DBUU CET 2027
- Click Apply Now on apply.dbuu.ac.in/dbuucet and fill in the application form.
- Log in with a password or an OTP sent to the registered email, complete the application and pay the Rs 1,500 CET fee online (net banking, cards or e-wallets).
- Visit the DBUU campus on the selected test date. Carry the CET admit card, a photo ID (Aadhaar, passport or voter ID) and any other documents the instructions name.
- After the test, same-day counselling is offered. The DBUU admission page gives the admission fee as Rs 7,000, or Rs 8,500 when the candidate goes through the CET; candidates who skip the CET use direct admission at Rs 7,000.

DBUU CET Scholarship Slabs
The CET page and the scholarship page give the 2026 slabs on the base fee after the domicile scholarship. The CET percentage bands apply to the first year; the CET page says the scholarship is multiplied with the qualifying-exam scholarship ("Multiply your Scholarship X 2"), and the university states that only one merit scholarship applies and that a year's total cannot pass 100%.

The same percentile slabs of 10%, 20%, 30%, 50% and 100% also apply to CUET (UG or PG), JEE, NATA, NEET and other national tests, CAT and XAT, and MAT and CMAT scores. The 2025 test gave a minimum Rs 5,000 for scores above 50% and 5% to 100% by band.

Programmes Open Through DBUU CET
The "Applicable programmes" list of the 2026 CET page groups programmes by school. It includes B.Tech, BCA, B.Sc (IT and AI and data science), BBA and its specialisations, B.Com (Hons.), B.Pharm, Pharm.D, hotel management, agriculture, forestry, design, architecture, animation, journalism and arts programmes, allied sciences, law, M.Tech, MCA, MBA and its specialisations, M.Pharm, M.Sc programmes, MHA and MPH, and some diplomas. The same page and the programme-page footers exclude BAMS, B.PT, B.Sc Nursing, polytechnic programmes and the hotel management, architecture and fashion design diplomas, so the two lists on the university site do not fully agree.
