Q-CARE (Quantum Entrance cum Scholarship Exam) is the online entrance and scholarship test of Quantum University, Roorkee. An applicant books a slot in an exam window, takes a 60-minute multiple-choice test that software proctors, and receives a result within 30 days; the score sets the Q-CARE scholarship and feeds into the Provisional Letter of Admission. Eligibility Criteria

Syllabus
The Q-CARE page says the syllabus is based on the Class 11 and Class 12 syllabus and also includes aptitude and general awareness questions. It publishes no unit-wise syllabus or sample paper (checked 16 October 2026). Subject coverage by stream:

How to Apply for Q-CARE 2027
- Application form: fill in personal details, academic performance and scholarship eligibility on apply.quantumuniversity.edu.in and pay the Rs 1,200 registration fee online (a demand draft is accepted at the campus).
- Book a slot: choose one of the available slots in the exam window; check the Important Dates section of the Q-CARE page for application fees and intake rounds.
- Take Q-CARE: 60 minutes, online, proctored. A candidate cannot retake it within the same academic year.
- Result and admission: results within 30 days; accepted candidates receive a Provisional Letter of Admission and have 15 days to pay the first fee instalment; after the fee and documents the university sends a Confirmation Letter of Admission by email.
The page adds that scholarships are limited and are awarded to selected students, so early application improves the chance of one.

Q-CARE Scholarship Slabs
The scholarship page lists Q-CARE slabs as an amount off the tuition fee, by Q-CARE marks. Only one scholarship (the higher of Q-CARE, JEE Main rank, CUET percentile or Class 12 marks) applies and it covers the first year only. The page prints no session; the Q-CARE page says scholarships of over Rs 1 crore are to be won.

Programmes That Use Q-CARE
The admissions page makes Q-CARE the second step of the application for every applicant. The fee structure PDFs name it for B.Tech, B.Tech (Hons.) and B.Tech + MBA ("Merit in University Entrance Exam (Q-CARE), IITJEE (Mains), State Level Entrance Exams shall be given preference"), and the scholarship page names Q-CARE slabs for the programme groups below. For MBA the fee PDF names CAT, CMAT, MAT, XAT or NMAT scores and for M.Tech a GATE score as the preferred routes.
