RUET 2027

The only dated schedule on the RUET schedule page is for 2019-20 (undergraduate test 5 June 2019, postgraduate test 10 June 2019, results 15 June 2019). The page says the notification of form-sale dates would be uploaded on the university website.

The university states the following for RUET. The text is not dated; the 2026-27 admission pages give the course-wise marks (60% in Class 12 for most undergraduate programmes, 50% in the qualifying degree for most postgraduate programmes).

• Indian candidates, undergraduate: the candidate must have cleared the 10+2 board exam and be at least 18 years old on the date of RUET registration.
• Postgraduate: the candidate must have cleared a graduate degree in any stream; individual course pages give further conditions.
• Appearing candidates: candidates awaiting the qualifying result may apply, but are admitted provisionally, subject to the minimum marks and to producing the original mark sheet and certificate at counselling.
• Foreign candidates: may take direct admission to any course without appearing for RUET.

• Answers are marked on an OMR sheet with a blue or black ball pen.
• The pattern page does not state marks per question or negative marking.
• No candidate enters the hall without a valid admit card; candidates are frisked and mobile phones and electronic gadgets are prohibited. Unfair means lead to disqualification.
• Results are displayed on the university website.

Rama University publishes no syllabus PDF for RUET. The pattern page describes the content of each section.

• General English: English grammar, paragraph comprehension, sentence correction, word power (meaning, synonym, antonym) and tense, at the 10+2 standard.
• General Knowledge and Numerical Ability: day-to-day national and international affairs, including politics, sports and developments in science and technology, and eminent personalities.
• Core Subject: 80 questions on the basic knowledge of the subject of the qualifying examination; the subject depends on the course applied for.

The RUET page itself says the test is mandatory for all courses, which differs from the medical routes above. The routes in the table follow the faculty pages for 2026-27.

The RUET 2025 registration page lists these courses. Some (B.Tech Civil, Electrical, Electronics and Communication, Clinical Psychology, environmental M.Sc. programmes) are not on the 2026-27 course list of the university, so check the course before applying.

The RUET-2026 page advertises a "Performance Based scholarship". The scholarship slabs on the university's 2026 scholarship page are based on Class 12 marks, graduation marks, CUET percentile, JEE rank and sports, not on RUET marks; no RUET-score slab was found.
