Overview
VGUCET (the VGU Common Entrance Test, written Vivekananda Global University Common Entrance Test on its page) is the online entrance and scholarship test of Vivekananda Global University (VGU), Jaipur. The university says one registration covers every programme at VGU, and that the score decides both eligibility and the scholarship. The test is free to register for and is taken from home on a webcam-proctored platform. VGU has not announced VGUCET 2027 (16 October 2026); the VGUCET page is headed 2026 and its registration form already lists the July 2027-2028 session.

The pages do not agree on every point: the UG admission page gives 24 July 2026 as the date of reporting, two days before the last 2026 test date on the VGUCET page.

Eligibility Criteria
The VGUCET page gives two conditions:
- UG courses: 50% or more in Class 12 (secondary education) from a recognised board (CBSE, ICSE or another recognised state or national board), or appearing in Class 12.
- PG courses: 50% or more in graduation from a recognised university, or appearing in the final year of graduation.
Programme-wise rules sit on the VGU admission pages. For example, B.Tech needs Class 12 with PCM and at least 45%, B.Arch needs PCM with 50% and a valid NATA or JEE Paper 2 score, B.Pharm and D.Pharm need PCB or PCM, MBA needs graduation with 50% (45% for SC/ST), and M.Des needs a graduate with at least one year of experience. SC, ST, OBC and PwD candidates get a 5% relaxation in minimum marks.

The VGUCET page names only the sections: English, General Knowledge and Logical Reasoning for diploma and UG candidates, and Quantitative Analysis, Basic Computer Knowledge and Logical Reasoning for PG candidates. How to Apply for VGUCET 2027
The admission page lists these steps for VGUCET; registration is free.
- Register on the VGUCET page (forms.vgu.ac.in/cet; the admission page names vgucet.vgu.ac.in) with name, email, mobile number, state and gender, and choose the programme group, course and session (the form lists July 2026-2027 and July 2027-2028). A confirmation by SMS and email carries the VGUCET ID.
- Log in with a password or an OTP and complete the academic profile: Class 10 and Class 12 details, subjects, board and percentage or CGPA, with the preferred programme and specialisation.
- Select an exam date and time slot from the calendar. The test is taken online from home on a webcam-proctored platform. The admission page says early phases carry higher scholarship potential.
- Take the 60-minute test. The admit card is emailed 3 days before the exam.
- Receive the result by email and SMS, then pay the admission fee online to confirm the seat. The admission page says results come within 7 working days of the exam.
Documents asked for at admission include the Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets (a degree certificate for PG), transfer and migration certificates, a character certificate, photographs, caste and sports certificates where relevant, and an ABC ID or APAAR ID. The registration form says "I agree to receive notifications" and shows the helpline 08037236860.

VGUCET Scholarship by Score
VGU says the VGUCET score decides the scholarship, which applies to the entire duration of the course and is not given for Ph.D. or the 1-year LL.M. Only one scholarship, the highest one earned, applies. The VGUCET 2026 page gives these slabs:

The same page lists other scholarships that run alongside VGUCET: Shakti (10% to 30% on Class 12 or graduation marks), an academic scholarship (10% at 75% to 89.99%, 15% at 90% and above in undergraduate studies), sports medalists (5% to 15%), alumni (20%) and an on-spot scholarship of up to 20% on the interview. The main admission page prints a different, higher VGUCET score table (up to 100% for a score of 90% and above) and calls the scholarship "up to 100%"; confirm the current slab with the university before relying on either.
The scholarship page (2025-26) adds that scholarships apply to the tuition fee in the even semester, continue only with 6 SGPA each semester and are for Indian students only.
