The application and counselling fees are not refundable. VIT allots the test city from the correspondence address in the application, so students must enter the correct address and upload valid proof of it. A candidate can appear for VITEEE 2027 only once; VIT says a violation leads to cancellation of the application and admission.

Each correct answer gets four marks, each wrong answer loses one mark, and unanswered questions or those marked for review get zero.

Resident Indians, NRIs and OCI cardholders with a residential address in India can apply; NRI-category and international applicants use VIT's separate forms.
Students who take the Mathematics paper (MPCEA) need 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class 12, with at least 50% in Mathematics, and are eligible for all B.Tech programmes. Students who take the Biology paper (BPCEA) need 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology, with at least 50% in Biology, and are eligible only for a set of biology-linked programmes, such as B.Tech Biotechnology. VIT says VITEEE is mandatory for its B.Tech admission; JEE Main and SAT scores are not considered.
