About This Scholarship

The Rajasthan post-matric scholarship schemes are run by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department through its scholarship portal, and students apply with a Rajasthan Single Sign-On (SSO) ID. The portal covers the post-matric schemes for SC, ST, MBC, OBC, EBC (Dr. Ambedkar), DNT (Dr. Ambedkar) and Mirasi and Bhishti students, and the Mukhyamantri Sarvjan Uchch Shiksha Chhatravriti Yojana for students of IITs, IIMs and other national-level institutions. Applications are paperless and online, for students of recognised government and private institutions in Rajasthan and of national or state-level institutions outside the state, other than Classes 11 and 12.

The department order of 31 July 2026 (RajKaj reference 23066445) sets the 2026-27 schedule. Institutes register or renew, map courses and update fee structures from 1 August 2026; the last date of 30 September 2026 was extended to 31 October 2026 by a later order. Students can register and apply from 15 August 2026 until 31 October 2026. The last date for recording student biometric attendance on the portal is 15 October 2026 for session 2025-26 and 31 March 2027 for session 2026-27.

Students must first complete the One Time Registration (OTR) on the National Scholarship Portal with e-KYC and face authentication, and must hold a Jan Aadhaar ID and an Aadhaar number; without them the scholarship is not sanctioned. The bank account must be Aadhaar-seeded and DBT-enabled. Institutes enter eight fee heads on the portal; if the fee structure is missing, only the maintenance allowance is paid and other fees cannot be reimbursed.
