For admission batch 2026-27 the university's fee table gives these amounts a year: MBA and MBA (Business Intelligence and AI) Rs 3,60,000; B.Tech. (CS and IT, AI and ML) Rs 1,35,000; BA LL.B. and BBA LL.B. Rs 1,00,000; MCA and M.Tech. Rs 1,00,000; BBA, B.Sc. Actuarial Science and B.Com. Fintech Rs 85,000; B.Com. Rs 80,000; M.Com. and M.A. Rs 75,000 to 80,000; BCA Rs 55,000; other BA and B.Sc. programmes Rs 50,000 to 55,000; LL.M. (one year) Rs 1,20,000. The Integrated MBA is Rs 85,000 a year for three years, then Rs 2,20,000 a year for two. B.Com. Fintech adds a one-time certification fee of Rs 50,000. Hostel and transport dues are extra.

ASBMUEE is the ASBM University Entrance Examination, an online test of two hours (11:00 am to 1:00 pm) in English, general knowledge and reasoning that the university accepts for MBA, Integrated MBA, B.Tech. and law, and in place of CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT or ATMA for MBA. In 2026 it was held on 12 April (MBA, Integrated MBA, law) and 19 April (B.Tech., Actuarial Science); an earlier capture of the page listed 1 February 2026 for MBA. The 2027 dates are not published (checked 20 October 2026). The university says it holds the test twice a year.

A bachelor's degree with 50% (45% reserved) and a valid CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA or ASBMUEE score are needed. The 2026 information bulletin weights the national-level test 35%, career score 25%, personal interview 20%, group discussion 10%, sports and professional experience 5% and gender diversity 5%. Students can take one or two specialisations from HR, Marketing, Finance, Operations and Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Agri-Business, Technology Management and Pharmaceutical Management.

Yes to both. ASBM University is a private unitary university set up by the Government of Odisha under the ASBM University, Odisha Act, 2019 (notified 26 September 2019). It grew out of the Asian School of Business Management, founded in 2006 at the same Bhubaneswar campus. The university says the UGC lists it under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956, and that the Bar Council of India has approved its BA LL.B. (Hons.) and BBA LL.B. (Hons.) programmes.

For batch 2026-27 the merit scheme pays Rs 70,000 (70% to 80%), Rs 80,000 (80% to 90%) or Rs 1,00,000 (above 90%) to MBA students on graduation marks and to Integrated MBA, BA LL.B. and BBA LL.B. students on Class 12 marks. Four-year UG and other two-year PG programmes (except LL.M.) get 15% of the academic fee at 75% to 90% and 20% above 90%. ASBM graduates joining an MBA get Rs 1,00,000, and joining other PG programmes 10% of the academic fee. The amount is paid in the last semester and only one scheme applies.

For 2026-27 the fee page lists hostel establishment dues a semester of Rs 22,500 (double room, common toilet), Rs 33,500 (single, common), Rs 39,375 (double, attached toilet) and Rs 45,000 (single, attached), plus mess dues of Rs 40,150 a semester. Room and mess together come to about Rs 1,25,300 to Rs 1,70,300 a year. Transport dues are Rs 24,000 a semester, and caution money is Rs 5,000 (another Rs 5,000 for hostel boarders).

The School of Law offers the five-year BA LL.B. (Hons.) and BBA LL.B. (Hons.), each at Rs 1,00,000 a year for 2026-27, and a one-year LL.M. at Rs 1,20,000. The Bar Council of India has approved the two integrated programmes. Entry to them needs 45% in Class 12 (42% OBC, 40% SC and ST) and a CLAT, AILET, CLET or ASBMUEE score.

Admission to ASBM University is by online application (Rs 500 for UG and PG, Rs 1,000 for Ph.D.) and, for the MBA, Integrated MBA, B.Tech. and law programmes, a valid test score: CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT or ATMA for MBA, IPMAT, CUET-UG or UGAT for the Integrated MBA, JEE for B.Tech. and CLAT or AILET for law, or the university's own ASBMUEE for any of them.
