Bharti Vishwavidyalaya, Durg

It is a private university in Durg. The UGC list of private universities included in 2021-22 shows "Bharti Vishwavidyalaya, Chandkhuri, Durg, Chhattisgarh - 491001", with inclusion on 27 August 2021 and notification on 3 March 2022. The Prospectus 2026 says it was established by the Holistic Foundation under the Chhattisgarh Private Vishwavidyalaya (Amendment) Act, 2021. The university website also gives 1997 as the founding year of the Bharti group (checked 20 October 2026).

The university's Fee Structure page for 2026-27 gives annual tuition of Rs 64,400 for B.Tech. (Rs 32,200 a semester), Rs 80,000 for B.Pharm., Rs 60,000 for B.A. LL.B. and B.Com. LL.B., Rs 50,000 for LL.B., Rs 70,000 for MBA, Rs 36,000 for BBA, Rs 21,600 for BCA and Rs 68,000 for B.Ed. A form fee of Rs 3,000 is paid once and student insurance is Rs 300 a year. These are tuition figures; no hostel or mess fee is published.

The 2026-27 fee table lists 51 programmes: B.Tech. in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science and Electronics and Telecommunication, M.Tech., diploma engineering, D.Pharm., B.Pharm., M.Pharm., B.A. LL.B., B.Com. LL.B., LL.B., LL.M., BCA, BBA, MBA, B.Com., M.Com., B.Sc., M.Sc., B.A., M.A., BSW, MSW, B.Ed., M.Ed., D.El.Ed., journalism, library science, forensic science, statistics and MPH. The Prospectus 2026 also describes Hotel Management, film making and animation programmes that are not in that fee table.

The admissions page asks applicants to sit a university or state-level entrance examination. It lists "State JEE / University test" for B.Tech., "Merit list / Entrance" for pharmacy, "Merit / CLAT score" for law and "CAT / MAT / University test" for BBA and MBA. It does not name a university test or publish test dates, pattern or syllabus, and no 2027-28 schedule is published (checked 20 October 2026).

The Prospectus 2026 lists tuition concessions of 100% for 96% and above and 10% for 85% to 95% in the qualifying examination (on selected courses), 20% for a single girl child, 20% for Kisan Card holder and Divyang students, and 10% for SC, ST and OBC students, national players and BPL card holders. State and central scholarships are separate schemes that need domicile and income certificates.

The university publishes no placement percentage, salary or batch figures. Its Training and Placement page and Prospectus 2026 list partner companies, among them Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, Genpact, Suzuki Motors, L and T Construction, IDBI Bank and SBI Life Insurance, and mention one student selected at ISRO in 2024 (checked 20 October 2026).

The campus is at Chandkhuri, Durg, Chhattisgarh 491001 and covers about 54 acres according to the Prospectus 2026. The contact page gives 3.5 km from Durg Bus Stand and 5.2 km from Durg Railway Station. The prospectus lists a students' hostel among the campus facilities; no hostel fee is published.

The 2026-27 fee table lists separate working-professional batches of the polytechnic diploma (Rs 44,000 a year), B.Tech. (Rs 90,000 a year) and M.Tech. (Rs 1,10,000 a year). The prospectus also lists lateral entry to B.Tech. for diploma holders. These batches are not part of the regular programme list on this page.

The Prospectus 2026 presents Bharti Ayurved Medical College and Hospital and Bharti College of Nursing as affiliated to Ayush University, Raipur, and Bhartiya College of Agriculture as affiliated to IGKV, Raipur. It also lists Sun Private ITI and Sun Public School. They are separate institutions and are not in the university's 2026-27 fee table.

Bharti Vishwavidyalaya admits for 2026-27 through online registration or the campus admission desk, document verification, an entrance step (a university or state-level test; the admissions page names CAT or MAT for management and a CLAT score for law) and seat allocation.
