About Christ Academy Institute of Law Bangalore Christ Academy Institute of Law Bangalore - Christ Academy Institute of Law(CAIL) is affiliated to the Karnataka State Law University, set up with a vision to provide progressive skill oriented programs in the field of law. There is no dearth of students in India who wish to study law and so there is no shortage of instiutions that are names to reckon with when it comes to law education. This is one of the institutions where students wishing to study law can approach. The history of this institution is glorious and so is the list of its achievements. Christ Academy Group of Institutions is a result of the efforts of the Devamatha Province in accordance with the CMI dream and vision to serve society in the field of education. Fr. Francis Kanichikattil and Jose Pereppadan, pioneers of CA group of institutions did the painstaking spadework for the realization of this Educational Institution. With the support of Fathers of Devamatha Community in Dharmaram College, they initially bought 18 acres of land in Begur (16 k.m. south-west of Dharmaram College) and registered Devamatha Educational Foundation. Fr. Jerome Cherussery, the then Provincial, laid the foundation stone of the I.C.S.E school on December 11th , 2004 in the presence of the Education Secretary of the Devamatha Province, Rector of Dharmaram College and other fathers and brothers of the Province. The school commenced its first academic year on June 13th, 2005. Today the school stands on 30 acres of sprawling land. Fr. Joice Elavathingal, the Principal with his vision and foresight, enabled the school to reach great heights.
