DAV College Chandigarh

DAV College Chandigarh is a co-educational, grant-in-aid college in Sector 10, Chandigarh, founded in 1958 and managed by the DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi. It is affiliated to Panjab University, Chandigarh, and is recognised by the UGC under sections 2(f) and 12(B). NAAC accredited the college with an A+ grade in 2005 and an A grade (CGPA 3.31) in 2016, a cycle whose validity ended on 18 February 2021; no later cycle appears in the college's 2023-24 annual quality report. NIRF India Rankings 2025 place it in the 151-200 band of the College category.

The college offers undergraduate programmes under NEP 2020: BA, B.Com, BBA, BCA, B.Sc. and B.Sc. Biotechnology (each with an honours route), an integrated four-year B.A. B.Ed., B.Voc degrees in Medical Laboratory Technology and in Food Science and Technology, and a two-year diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology. Postgraduate courses include M.A. in English, Economics, Public Administration, Sociology and Psychology, M.Sc. in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Zoology and Biotechnology, M.Com, M.Com (Business Economics) and evening diplomas in Mass Communication, Computer Application and Marketing Management. Admission is on marks in the qualifying examination; B.Com, BBA and BCA seats are allotted through the Chandigarh Directorate of Higher Education's centralised portal and other courses through the college's own online process.
