GSFC University

GSFC University is a state private university at Vigyan Bhavan, Fertilizernagar, Vadodara, recognised under the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009 through a State Government notification dated 19 December 2014. It was promoted by Gujarat State Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd (GSFC Ltd) as a corporate social responsibility initiative, through the GSFC Education Society set up in 2010. The University Grants Commission includes it in its list of universities under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956, and its degrees are specified under Section 22 for its main campus in regular mode.

For 2026-27 the university offers B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (175 seats), Chemical Engineering (75), Fire and Environment, Health, Safety Engineering (60) and Electronics and Communication Engineering (30), an M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, an MBA with 60 seats, BBA with 120 seats and BBA Business Analytics with 80, a BCA (Hons.) with 45, and B.Sc. (Hons.) programmes in Biotechnology (90) and Microbiology (60). Five-year integrated programmes run in Chemistry, Data Science, Pharmaceutical Science and BBA-MBA, alongside M.Sc. programmes in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology and Data Science, a one-year PG Diploma in Industrial Safety and PhD programmes. B.Tech and MBA fees are fixed by the Gujarat Fee Regulatory Committee (Technical) for the block 2026-27 to 2028-29; B.Tech seats are filled through ACPC counselling and all-India management-quota admission.
