IES College of Technology

IES College of Technology is a self-financing engineering and management college at Kalkheda, on Ratibad Main Road in Bhopal. The Infotech Education Society set it up in 2007, and AICTE lists it as a private self-financing institution with permanent ID 1-7650521. Its engineering and M.Tech programmes are affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal, and its MBA to Barkatullah University, Bhopal. It belongs to the IES Group of Institutions, which also runs the IES Institute of Pharmacy. IES University, a separate state private university established on 14 August 2019 and listed by UGC at the same campus address, is a different institution. NIRF 2025 placed the college in the 201-300 band of the Engineering category.

AICTE's approval letter for 2024-25 covers ten four-year B.E. branches with a combined intake of 900: Computer Science and Engineering (180), CSE with AI and Machine Learning (120), Mechanical (120), Civil (90), Electrical and Electronics (90), CSE with Data Science (90), Electronics and Communication (60), CSE with Cyber Security (60), AI and Data Science (60) and Computer Science and Business Systems (30). At postgraduate level it approves M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, Thermal Engineering and Power Systems (18 seats each) and the MBA, with Marketing and Financial Management specialisations listed separately. B.E., M.Tech and MBA seats are filled through the Madhya Pradesh DTE online counselling, which builds merit lists from JEE Main, GATE and CMAT scores.
