About IISER Pune
Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune, established in 2006, is one of India's premier research institutes dedicated to fundamental science education. Ranked 55th overall in NIRF 2025, IISER Pune offers BS-MS dual degree, integrated PhD, and PhD programs in biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, earth and climate science, and data science. Located on a 100-acre campus in Dr. Homi Bhabha Road, Pune, IISER Pune is recognized for its exceptional research output per faculty member and its interdisciplinary approach to science education.
