About Jagannath University
Jagannath University, whose legal name is Jagan Nath University, Jaipur, is a private university on NH-12, Chaksu Bypass, Tonk Road, Jaipur, with a second campus at Sitapura. The Jagan Nath Gupta Memorial Educational Society, a non-profit society established in 1993, promoted it, and Rajasthan Act No. 19 of 2008 created it. It is approved under sections 2(f) and 12-B of the UGC Act, 1956, and NAAC accredited it in 2022 with grade A in the second cycle, valid until June 2027. The B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture programme holds ICAR accreditation for five years, and the website lists Bar Council, Pharmacy Council, NCTE, AICTE and town planners' approvals for the relevant programmes.
The 2026-27 programme list is grouped into faculties of Engineering and Technology, Architecture, Planning and Design, Agriculture, Science, Management Studies, Law, Education, and Medical, Paramedical and Allied Health Sciences.
