JNU's programme pages for 2026-27 print these tuition fees: B.Tech CSE Rs 1,36,780; CSE Data Science Rs 1,19,460; CSE AI and ML (Samatrix.io) Rs 1,51,840; CSE Cyber Security Rs 1,47,650; Civil, Electrical, Electronics and Communication and Mechanical Rs 1,09,100; Biotechnology and Biomedical Rs 1,26,220; Food Technology Rs 1,22,200. The pages do not say whether the amount is yearly, and lab and library fees are charged separately.

The 2026-27 tuition fee printed on the programme pages is Rs 1,75,300 for the MBA with Logistics and Supply Chain, Business Analytics or Production and Operations specialisations, Rs 1,99,600 for the MBA dual specialization and for Hospital and Healthcare Management, and Rs 1,35,050 for Fashion Management. Entry needs a graduation in any stream and a valid MAT, CAT, CMAT, XAT or CET score, then a personal interview.

JNU's office order for MBBS batch 2025 (first year 2025-26, dated 20 May 2025) sets tuition at Rs 23.0 lakh a year for state-quota seats and Rs 28.0 lakh a year for management-quota seats, with caution money of Rs 2,00,000 and Rs 3,00,000. The MBBS listing names NEET as the entry route, and no 2026-27 fee order was found.

JNU's NIRF 2025 data covers the 2023-24 graduating batch: 725 of 1,311 graduates were placed. Median salary of placed graduates was Rs 4,50,000 for UG 3-year and 4-year programmes, Rs 3,50,000 for UG 5-year, Rs 4,00,000 for PG 2-year, Rs 5,00,000 for PG 3-year and Rs 4,20,000 for PG 6-year programmes. The 2026-27 brochure states a highest package of Rs 70 LPA without a batch year.

JNU-JEST (Joint Entrance Cum Scholarship Test) is Jaipur National University's own computer-based test for undergraduate applicants who have passed or are appearing in Class 12. The paper has 75 one-mark questions in four sections (quantitative aptitude and reasoning, current affairs, English and subject questions) with 0.25 negative marking, and it carries scholarships up to 100%. The official page gives no 2027 dates (checked 16 October 2026).

NAAC accredited JNU at A+ with a CGPA of 3.30 (second cycle) in a certificate dated 25 April 2024 and valid up to 24 April 2029. JNU submitted NIRF data for 2025 but is not in the NIRF 2025 ranked lists that were checked, so no rank is given.

JNU is a state private university at Jagatpura on the Jaipur-Agra Bypass, near the New RTO office, Jaipur 302017. It was founded on 22 October 2007 under the Mahima Shiksha Samiti of the Seedling Group, works under the Jaipur National University, Jaipur Act, 2008, and was approved by the UGC under section 2(f) in 2008.

The accommodations page lists 2,250 rooms in self-catering residences and 600 rooms for medical students, with separate hostels for boys, girls and international students. No hostel fee is published on that page, and hostel registration is handled on the university portal (checked 16 October 2026).

JNU lists scholarships up to 100% for undergraduate programmes through JNU-JEST, merit scholarships for JNU students scoring above 75% and for programme toppers, progression scholarships from diploma to UG and from UG to PG, fellowships for research scholars and EMI education loans. No slab table is published on the scholarships page.

JNU-JEST for most undergraduate programmes (the listing pages say Entrance Test plus personal interview), a valid CLAT score as an alternative for B.A. LL.B and BBA LL.B, JEE or the university test for B.Tech Civil, Electrical, Electronics and Communication and Mechanical, MAT, CAT, CMAT, XAT or a state CET for MBA, NEET for MBBS, NEET PG for MD and MS, PTET for B.Ed and integrated B.Ed, and PMET for M.Ed.

JNU admits undergraduate applicants on its own entrance test (JNU-JEST) or on merit, with a personal interview, depending on the programme; B.Tech Civil, Electrical, Electronics and Communication and Mechanical also accept JEE. MBA needs a valid MAT, CAT, CMAT, XAT or state CET score, MBBS needs NEET and MD and MS need NEET PG. The apply portal shows an enquiry form for 2027-28 but no dates (checked 16 October 2026).
