About LNCT University
LNCT University is a private university in Bhopal, created under the Madhya Pradesh Niji Vishwavidyalaya (Sthapana Evam Sanchalan) Adhiniyam, 2007, as amended by Act No. 4 of 2015, and UGC's list of state private universities gives its establishment date as 8 January 2015. The H. K. Kalchuri Education Trust, which runs institutions in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, conceived it. The campus at J K Town on Kolar Road dates from 2008, and the university site says the medical and nursing colleges approved there earlier became its constituent units when it was upgraded. LN Medical College and the 1,250-bed J K Hospital stand on the campus. NIRF 2025 listed the university in the 151-200 band of its University category.
The course list on the university site spans medicine (MBBS and MD/MS in 18 specialities), Ayurveda (BAMS, 100 seats), nursing, paramedical sciences, pharmacy (D.Pharm, B.Pharm, M.Pharm), engineering (B.Tech in computer science, AI and machine learning, data science, electronics, mechanical, electrical and civil, plus M.Tech), computer applications, science, agriculture, architecture, design, law, journalism, hotel management, management and commerce. MBBS and MD/MS need NEET qualification, B.Tech needs a JEE or LNCT-CET attempt, most other UG courses ask for the university's own LNCT-CET, and B.Arch accepts NATA or JEE Main Paper 2.
